Ingredients/Components

  • water - 1/2 3/4
  • garlic powder - 1 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 3/4 c
  • soy sauce - 3/4 c
  • seasoned salt - 3 tsp
  • black pepper - 1 tsp
  • onion powder - 3 tsp
  • liquid smoke - 3 tsp
  • meat tenderizer - 3 tsp
  • meat - 5 lb

How to make beef jerky:

Slice meat to uniform size. Mix all ingredients, except meat; mix well. Pour over meat and marinate 24 hours.

Bake on racks on cookie sheets at 125° to 150° for 8 hours.

Venison works best.
