Tuna loaf
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- melted margarine - 2 Tbsp
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- soft bread crumbs
- finely chopped onion - 1/4 c
- finely chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
- cayenne pepper - 1/8 tsp
- finely chopped celery - 1 c
- cans tuna, drained and flaked - 2 oz
How to make tuna loaf:
Mix all ingredients well. Spoon into a greased loaf pan. Bake in 375° oven until firm and lightly browned (about 45 minutes). Unmold and serve hot, plain or with mushroom sauce or chilled and sliced for salad. Serves 4 to 6.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Main dish, Tuna.
