Tomato pudding
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- dark brown sugar - 1/2 1
- stick butter - 1 item
- lemon juice - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- canned tomatoes - 2 c
- Tabasco - 1/4 tsp
- loaf Pepperidge Farm very thin bread, crusts removed - 1 item
How to make tomato pudding:
Heat tomatoes for 5 minutes. Add butter, sugar and all seasonings. Mix well. Butter 2 quart casserole and fill with loosely torn pieces of bread. Pour tomato mixture over bread and mix well.
