Ingredients/Components
- green tomatoes - 1 gal
- or 4 ripe tomatoes - 3 item
- bell peppers - 5 item
- hot peppers I use 20 to 25 in mine - 6 item
- medium white onions - 12 item
- stalk celery - 1 item
- medium cabbage - 1 item
- white distilled vinegar - 3 pt
- sugar - 4 c
- salt - 1/2 c
- turmeric - 2 tsp
- mustard - 2 tsp
- cayenne pepper - 2 tsp
- allspice - 1 tsp
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- juice of 4 lemons
- ripe tomatoes - 15 item
- green peppers - 3 item
- onions - 2 item
- vinegar - 1 c
- white sugar - 1 c
- red pepper - 1/2 tsp
- sticks cinnamon - 4 item
- whole cloves place in mesh bag - 1 Tbsp
How to make green tomato relish:
Skin tomatoes by placing in hot water. Slice into large 4 quart container. Slice onions and peppers into the container.
