Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- butter or margarine - 1/2 lb
- flour - 3 c
- water - 1/2 c
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- egg yolks - 3 item
- soda
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- cloves - 1 tsp
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
How to make tomato cake:
Sift flour; measure it, then sift again with all dry ingredients except the sugar. Cream the shortening and sugar; add the egg yolks, then add the sauce (to which the 1/2 cup water has been added) alternately with the dry ingredients. Add vanilla.
