Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 2 tsp
- flour
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- butter - 6 Tbsp
- water - 2/3 c
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- oil - 1 c
- soda - 2 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 4 item
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- cloves - 1/2 tsp
- allspice - 1 tsp
- can pumpkin - 1 oz
- can Angle Flake coconut - 1 item
- Add eggs and pumpkin; mix well
How to make pumpkin bread:
Cream sugar and oil together. Add eggs and pumpkin; mix well. Sift together dry ingredients. Add dry ingredients alternately with water. Pour into 2 well-greased and floured 9 x 5-inch loaf pans. Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours or until tests done. Let stand 10 minutes. Remove from pans to cool.Topping:1/4 c. evaporated milk6 Tbsp. butter1/2 c. brown sugar1 tsp. vanilla1 can Angle Flake coconut Put all ingredients in pan. Put on stove until butter is melted.
