Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 6 Tbsp
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- flour - 2 c
- water - 1 c
- cocoa - 3 Tbsp
- confectioners sugar - 1 lb
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- Icing:1 stick margarine
How to make texas sheet cake:
Icing:1 stick margarine4 Tbsp. cocoa6 Tbsp. milk1 lb. confectioners sugar1 tsp. vanilla1/2 c. chopped nuts Combine margarine, water and cocoa in saucepan. Bring to boil. Remove from heat, add flour and sugar. Then add sour cream, eggs, salt, vanilla and soda. Pour (will be runny) into greased and floured jelly roll pan. Bake at 375° for 15 to 20 minutes.Icing: Combine margarine, cocoa and milk. Bring to boil. Remove from heat and add sugar, vanilla and nuts. Spread on hot cake.
