Caramel fudge cake
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- butter - 1/2 c
- can sweetened condensed milk - 1 item
- coarsely chopped pecans - 1 c
- chocolate or devils food cake mix - 1 pkg
How to make caramel fudge cake:
Preheat oven to 350°. Prepare cake mix as directed. Pour 2 cups batter into 13 x 9 x 2-inch greased pan; bake 15 minutes. Meanwhile, in saucepan over low heat, melt caramels, butter and milk, stir until smooth. Spread evenly over cake that has been baked, the caramel mixture. Top with nuts, add remaining cake mix. Return to oven and bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes longer or until cake springs back when touched.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Lunch/snacks.
