- salt
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1/4 c
- shortening - 3 Tbsp
- ginger - 1/4 tsp
- honey - 1/4 c
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- soy sauce - 1/4 c
- curry powder - 1/2 tsp
- boneless pot roast or chuck - 3 4
How to make teriyaki pot roast:
Combine flour, salt, pepper and curry powder. Dredge meat in seasoned flour. Brown in shortening. Pour off drippings. Add water, honey, soy sauce and ginger. Cover tightly and cook slowly for 3 to 3 1/2 hours at 325° or until meat is tender. Add 3/4 cup water to cooking liquid; add 1/4 cup flour to make gravy.Recipe categories: Fruit, Meat, Low Carb.
