Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- butter - 1 c
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- self-rising flour
How to make tea cakes:
Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and mix well. Add dry ingredients, which have been sifted together. Add vanilla. Roll out on floured board and cut with cookie cutter. Bake at 400° for approximately 10 minutes. (Do not grease cookie sheet.)Recipe categories: Desserts, Breads, Coffee cakes.
