  • sugar - 1 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • flour
  • butter - 1 c
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • egg - 1 item

How to make sugar cookies:

Mix together sugar, butter, egg, vanilla and baking powder. Slowly add in flour until hard to mix, then stir with spoon. Cut mixture in 1/2 then roll with rolling pin into 1/4-inch thick. Cut with cutters. Bake at 400° approximately 10 minutes.
