  • sugar - 2 c
  • eggs - 3 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 3 c
  • baking powder - 3 tsp
  • Crisco - 1 c

How to make tea cakes:

Mix Crisco, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add flour, salt and baking powder. Mix well and roll out about 1/8-inch thick. Cut with cookie cutters. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes. Frost with stiff white icing.
