Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- baking powder - 3 tsp
- Crisco - 1 c
How to make tea cakes:
Mix Crisco, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add flour, salt and baking powder. Mix well and roll out about 1/8-inch thick. Cut with cookie cutters. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes. Frost with stiff white icing.Recipe categories: Desserts, Breads, Coffee cakes.
