Taco beef soup
Ingredients/Components
- water
- dairy sour cream - 1 item
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- ground beef - 1/2 lb
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 item
- taco seasoning mix - 1/2 envelope
- can stewed tomatoes, cut up - 1 oz
- can kidney beans - 1 oz
- small avocado, peeled, seeded and chopped - 1 item
How to make taco beef soup:
In large saucepan, cook ground beef and onion until meat is browned; drain off excess fat. Add water, undrained tomatoes, undrained kidney beans, tomato sauce and taco seasoning mix. Simmer, covered, for 15 minutes. Add avocado. Pass cheese, corn chips and sour cream to top each serving. Makes 6 servings.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Main dish, Ground beef.
