- water - 4 c
- pepper
- ground beef - 1 lb
- cans tomato sauce - 3 oz
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- hot pepper sauce - 1/2 1
- potatoes, peeled and cut in 1/2-inch cubes - 4 c
How to make spicy potato soup:
In a Dutch oven or large kettle, brown beef. Drain. Add potatoes, onion and tomato sauce. Stir in water, salt, pepper and hot pepper sauce. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour or until potatoes are tender or until the soup has thickened. Makes 2 quarts, 6 to 8 servings.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Soups & stews, Main dish.
