Ingredients/Components
- dry red wine - 1 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- cans tomato sauce - 3 item
- parsley - 2 Tbsp
- onions, chopped - 2 item
- minced garlic - 2 Tbsp
- bay leaves - 2 item
- dash of Tabasco - 1 item
- cans stewed tomatoes original - 3 item
- cans water possibly a little more - 3 item
- fresh cracked crab - 1 item
How to make crab cioppino:
Combine all ingredients, except crab, in a large pot. Simmer 1/2 hour to 45 minutes. Add crab halfway through simmering. Serves 4 to 6. If using live crabs, boil 10 minutes, then add to sauce.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Main dish, Crab.
