Taco beef soup
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 item
- water
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- ground beef - 1/2 lb
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 item
- taco seasoning mix - 1/2 envelope
- can stewed tomatoes, cut up - 1 oz
- corn chips - 1 item
- can kidney beans - 1 oz
- small avocado, peeled, seeded and chopped - 1 item
How to make taco beef soup:
Cook ground beef and onion in large saucepan until meat is browned. Drain off excess fat. Add water, kidney beans, tomato sauce and taco seasoning mix. Simmer covered for 15 minutes. Add avocado. Pass the cheese, corn chips and sour cream to top each serving.Note: This soup is as good without the chips or avocado. Yields 6 servings.
