Ingredients/Components

  • water - 4 c
  • garlic salt - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped green pepper - 1 item
  • can tomato paste - 6 oz
  • Italian sausage - 1 lb
  • can tomatoes - 28 oz
  • beef bouillon cubes - 4 item
  • crushed oregano - 2 tsp
  • small can sliced mushrooms - 1 item
  • chopped medium onion - 1 item
  • 1-inch broken spaghetti pieces - 1/2 lb
  • grated Mozzarella or Romano

How to make spaghetti soup:

Brown sausage in 3 or 4-quart pan. Drain. Remove; set aside. Add green pepper, onion and mushrooms to pan and saute until tender. Add meat and all ingredients except cheese and spaghetti. Cover and simmer 15 to 20 minutes. Cook spaghetti. Add to soup. Top bowls with cheese or add to soup.
