  • hamburg, beef or turkey - 1 lb
  • chopped onions - 1/2 c
  • taco seasoning - 1 pkg
  • water - 3/4 c
  • shredded Cheddar cheese
  • shredded lettuce - 1 c
  • chopped tomatoes
  • olives, chili, green peppers, jalapenos - 1 item
  • flour
  • yeast - 1 pkg
  • sugar - 1 Tbsp
  • fine onion - 2 tsp
  • salt - 3/4 tsp
  • warm water - 2/3 c
  • oil - 2 Tbsp

How to make taco bake:

Topping:1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese1 c. shredded lettuce1 1/2 c. chopped tomatoes olives, chili, green peppers, jalapenos Taco Crust:1 3/4 to 2 c. flour1 pkg. yeast1 Tbsp. sugar2 tsp. fine onion3/4 tsp. salt2/3 c. warm water2 Tbsp. oil Brown beef; add remaining ingredients. In medium mixing bowl combine 1 cup of flour, yeast, sugar, onion and salt; mix well. Add warm water and oil. Mix. Stir in 1/2 cup corn chips and flour enough to make stiff batter. Spread in greased 10-inch pie pan. Cover; let rise. Spread meat filling over dough. Bake 30 to 35 minutes. Sprinkle cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, etc., on top. Serve with sour cream, jalapenos and taco sauce.
