Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 4 c
- water - 2 Tbsp
- oil - 2 Tbsp
- warm water - 1/4 c
- can tomato sauce
- oregano - 1 tsp
- can tomato paste - 1 oz
- yeast - 1 pkg
- clove garlic, crushed - 1 item
How to make pizza:
Sauce:1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste1 Tbsp. oil2 Tbsp. water1 clove garlic, crushed1 tsp. oregano1/2 tsp. sugar1/2 tsp. salt Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup water. Mix half flour with salt and sugar, then add 1 1/4 cups water and oil. Beat smooth. Add rest of the flour and knead. Put in bowl. Cover and let rise 1 hour.Warm all sauce ingredients over low heat. Simmer until needed. Preheat oven to 450°. Punch down dough and divide. Refrigerate 1/2 while you roll out 1/2 to 15 inches and place on 14-inch pizza pan. Cover with 1/2 of sauce and top with Mozzarella or Parmesan cheese. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes. Do remaining dough the same way.
