Ingredients/Components
- can crushed pineapple - 1 oz
- can cherry pie filling - 1 oz
- sticks margarine, melted - 2 item
- pkg yellow cake mix - 1 item
- c flaked coconut, optional - 1 item
- cup finely chopped pecans or other nuts - 1 item
How to make mom's cherry cake:
Pour pie filling and pineapple in bottom of greased 9x13-inch cake pan. Sprinkle dry cake mix on top. Pour melted margarine on top. Sprinkle with coconut and nuts. Bake at 350° for 50 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Cherries.
