Ingredients/Components
- 9-inch unbaked pastry crust
- milk
- sugar - 1/2 c
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla extract
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- ground nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- coconut - 1 c
- sweetened whipped cream - 1 item
How to make coconut custard pie:
In bowl, combine milk, sugar, eggs, vanilla, salt and nutmeg. Beat well to blend. Sprinkle coconut into pastry shell. Pour egg mixture over coconut. Bake at 425° for 20 to 25 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool and serve garnished with whipped cream.
