Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- chopped walnuts optional - 1/2 c
- unsalted butter - 2 Tbsp
- yams, drained - 4 sweet
How to make sweet potato casserole:
Mash the cooked or canned potatoes with the beaten eggs. Continue mixing with the brown sugar and softened butter until fairly smooth. Spoon into a 1 1/2-quart casserole. Sprinkle nuts on top. Bake in 350° oven for 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Side dish, Potato, Casseroles.
