Sweet potato casserole
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- milk - 1 c
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- butter - 3/4 c
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- coconut - 1 c
- stick butter - 3/4 item
- crushed cornflakes
- dash of cinnamon - 1 item
- large can sweet potatoes, mashed - 1 item
- eggs, beat well - 2 item
How to make sweet potato casserole:
Topping:1 c. crushed cornflakes1/2 c. brown sugar3/4 c. butter1 c. coconut1/2 c. chopped nuts Dissolve cornstarch in a little of the milk. Mix all together. Pour into buttered casserole and bake 15 to 20 minutes at 400°.Topping: Mix together over low heat. Spread over potato mix. Return to oven and bake 15 to 20 minutes longer.
