Sweet and sour kraut
Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- can tomatoes - 1 oz
- slices bacon, cut up - 3 item
- can sauerkraut - 1 oz
How to make sweet and sour kraut:
Fry bacon and onion. Pour off fat. Add sauerkraut, tomatoes and sugar. Let cook down to desired consistency, about 45 minutes on low heat.Recipe categories: Side dish, Winter, Fall.
