Sunday fried chicken
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 2 Tbsp
- flour - 2 c
- cooking oil - 1 item
- cornmeal - 1/2 c
- dry mustard - 2 Tbsp
- paprika - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1 Tbsp
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- celery salt - 1 Tbsp
- chicken, quartered - 2 4
- ginger, ground - 1 tsp
- thyme dried - 1/2 tsp
How to make sunday fried chicken:
Combine all ingredients except chicken and oil. Place about 1 cup flour mixture in a paper or plastic bag. Shake a few chicken pieces in the bag at a time, coating well. Heat 1/4 inches of oil in a large skillet on medium-high until brown on all sides. Place in large shallow baking dish. Bake uncovered at 350° for 1 hour.
