Ingredients/Components

  • brown sugar - 3 Tbsp
  • oil - 2 Tbsp
  • vinegar - 3 Tbsp
  • ginger - 1/2 tsp
  • 8 oz - 1 c
  • boneless chicken, cubed - 1 lb
  • chicken bouillon
  • carrot strips
  • soy sauce or teriyaki sauce - 1/4 c
  • pepper strips
  • Minute rice hot, cooked

How to make sweet and sour chicken:

Brown chicken in oil; add vegetables. Saute. Add all the rest of the ingredients except rice; bring to a boil. Add rice; stir. Cover, turn off heat and let stand 5 minutes.
