Summer squash casserole
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- sour cream - 1 c
- melted margarine - 1/2 c
- shredded carrots - 1 c
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- summer squash about 6 c - 2 lb
How to make summer squash casserole:
Simmer the squash and drain. Add the onion, soup, carrots and sour cream. Mix the stuffing with the melted margarine. Place most of the stuffing mix in the bottom of a 13 x 9-inch pan. Spread with rest of ingredients mixed together. Spread rest of stuffing mix over top. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.Two cups of cubed chicken or ham may be added to make a complete meal.
