Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 c
- shredded carrots - 1 c
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- stick melted butter - 1 item
- thinly sliced squash - 7 c
- bag herb seasoned dressing mix stuffing - 8 oz
How to make summer squash casserole:
Cook squash and onion in boiling salted water for 5 minutes; drain. Combine soup, sour cream and carrots with squash and onion mixture. Melt butter. Stir in stuffing mix. Put 1/2 stuffing mix on bottom of dish, then all of vegetable mixture. Top with remaining stuffing mix. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.Recipe categories: Squash, Vegetables, Casseroles.
