  • sugar - 3/4 c
  • cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
  • vanilla - 1/2 tsp
  • milk - 1 Tbsp
  • salt - 1/8 tsp
  • flour
  • baking powder - 1/4 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • stick butter - 1 item

How to make sugar cookies:

Preheat oven to 350°. Cream butter gradually adding sugar. Beat until light. Add egg, vanilla and milk. Beat thoroughly. Mix flour, salt, baking powder and cinnamon. Add to creamed mixture and mix well. Refrigerate at least 2 hours. Roll dough to 1/4 inch thickness and cut into shapes. Place on a lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake 8 minutes.

For a change, add 1/3 cup cocoa to dry ingredients.
