Ingredients/Components
- shortening - 1/2 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- sugar - 1 c
- egg - 1 item
- flour - 2 c
- cream of tartar - 1/2 tsp
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
How to make sugar cookies:
Mix in order given. Roll into balls and flatten with a glass dipped in sugar or colored sugar. Bake at 350° for 10 or 11 minutes. Watch because they burn easily.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Rolled cookies.
