Stuffed zucchini
Ingredients/Components
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- garlic salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped onions - 3 Tbsp
- chopped tomato - 1/4 c
- dry bread crumbs - 3 Tbsp
- medium zucchini - 3 item
- water chestnuts, sliced - 1/2 c
- slices cheese, diced - 4 item
How to make stuffed zucchini:
Parboil zucchini 5 to 8 minutes. Drain and cut in half lengthways. Hollow out, leaving 1/4-inch shell. Chop centers. Melt butter, then combine cheese, chestnuts, bread crumbs, garlic, tomato and zucchini centers. Cook filling until cheese starts to melt. Fill hollow zucchini.
