Ingredients/Components

  • garlic powder - 1/8 tsp
  • dash of pepper - 1 item
  • bread crumbs - 1/2 c
  • oregano - 1/2 tsp
  • egg whites, slightly beaten - 2 item
  • small mushrooms - 1 lb

How to make stuffed mushrooms:

Clean mushrooms; remove stems and dry caps. Chop stems into small pieces. Mix bread crumbs, oregano, garlic powder and pepper. Add to stem pieces and mix well. Add egg whites; mix well. Stuff mushroom caps and place in oven-proof dish. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes. Yields 6 servings.
