Ingredients/Components

  • butter or margarine - 6 Tbsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 4 tsp
  • Corn Chex cereal - 2 c
  • salted nuts - 3/4 c
  • Rice Chex cereal - 2 c
  • Wheat Chex cereal - 2 c
  • seasoned salt * - 1 tsp

How to make party mix:

Heat oven to 250°. Melt butter in a shallow pan over low heat. Stir in Worcestershire sauce and seasoned salt. Add Chex cereals and nuts. Mix over low heat until all pieces are coated. Heat in oven for 45 minutes. Stir every 15 minutes; spread on absorbent paper to cool. Makes 6 3/4 cups.

*Instead of Seasoned Salt Try: 3/8 teaspoon onion powder and 3/4 teaspoon salt or 3/8 teaspoon of garlic powder and 3/8 teaspoon of salt.
