Stuffed mushroom caps
Ingredients/Components
- butter - 1/4 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- cream cheese at room temperature - 1/4 c
- large mushroom caps - 36 item
- pinch of nutmeg - 1 item
- chopped, cooked baby shrimp - 1/4 c
- strips of lemon peel - 1 item
- chopped, cooked crab meat - 1/4 c
- sprigs of mint - 1 item
How to make stuffed mushroom caps:
Saute mushrooms in butter over high heat about 3 minutes. Beat cream cheese until smooth. Stir in crab, shrimp, nutmeg and seasonings. Stuff each cap with a little of the seafood mixture. Arrange on a large baking sheet. Place under preheated broiler until bubbling. Garnish with strips of lemon peel and sprig of mint.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Vegetables, Pork.
