Stuffed mushroom appetizers
Ingredients/Components
- bread crumbs - 1/3 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- parsley - 1 tsp
- clove garlic, crushed - 1/2 item
- large fresh mushrooms - 20 item
- tomato salsa - 1/2 c
- Italian sausage, remove casing - 8 oz
- grated fresh Romano cheese - 1/4 c
How to make stuffed mushroom appetizers:
Take mushrooms and wash; cut off stems and dice stems in fry-pan with sausage, garlic and seasoning. When completely cooked, remove from heat; add salsa, bread crumbs and cheese and mix. Lay mushroom caps on flat surface and fill with sausage mixture. Place stuffed mushrooms on an oiled baking pan. Add a little water to the pan and bake in a 350° oven for 25 minutes.Recipe categories: Time to make, Appetizers, < 30 mins.
