Mushroom rice
Ingredients/Components
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- Parmesan cheese - 2 Tbsp
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- grated onion - 1 Tbsp
- chopped parsley - 1 Tbsp
- peas - 1/2 c
- fresh mushrooms, sliced - 1 c
- hot rice, cooked in chicken broth - 3 c
How to make mushroom rice:
Saute mushrooms in butter until soft (3 to 4 minutes) and add rice, peas, onion, salt and pepper. Mix well; cover pan and heat over very low heat for a few minutes until piping hot. Spoon into serving dish and sprinkle with cheese and parsley.Recipe categories: Side dish, Rice, Short Grain rice.
