Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- butter or margarine - 1/3 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- baking powder - 3 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- firm butter or margarine
- brown or granulated sugar - 1/3 c
How to make streusel coffee cake:
Streusel:1/3 c. firm butter or margarine1/2 c. flour1/3 c. brown or granulated sugar1 tsp. cinnamon Preheat oven to 350°. Place all batter ingredients in large bowl. Using an electric mixer, beat until smooth.Place all Streusel ingredients in another bowl. Mix with a fork or pastry blender until crumbly. Put 1/2 batter in bottom of 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Sprinkle with 1/2 Streusel mix. Put remaining batter on top. Sprinkle with remaining Streusel. Bake 40 to 45 minutes.
