Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- vanilla - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 2 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 qt
- beaten eggs - 4 item
- melted shortening - 1 c
- plain flour, sifted - 5 c
- pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon - 1 Tbsp
- box Raisin Bran - 15 oz
How to make six week bran muffins:
Mix Raisin Bran, sugar, flour, soda, spice and salt in a very large bowl. Add eggs, shortening, vanilla and buttermilk. Mix well. Store in a covered container in refrigerator and use as desired.Bake at 400° for 15 to 20 minutes. Batter will keep in refrigerator for 6 weeks. Can add nuts.
