Overnight coffee cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- butter or margarine - 2/3 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- buttermilk - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- unsifted flour - 2 c
- powdered milk - 2 Tbsp
How to make overnight coffee cake:
Cream together butter and sugars until blended; beat in eggs one at a time. Stir in milk, salt, baking soda, cinnamon and baking powder. Add alternately flour and buttermilk. Pour into a buttered and floured pan (13 x 9 x 2-inch). Mix together sugar, nuts and cinnamon. Sprinkle over batter. Refrigerate overnight.
