Strawberry-rhubarb pie
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- flour - 1/3 c
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- diced rhubarb - 3 c
- 9-inch unbaked pie crusts - 2 item
- sliced fresh strawberries - 2 c
How to make strawberry-rhubarb pie:
Combine and mix well the sugar, flour, salt and vanilla. Add rhubarb and strawberries; mix well and put into pie shell. Dot with butter. Add top crust and cut slits in crust. Bake at 450° for 15 minutes, then reduce oven to 350° and bake for 30 to 40 minutes. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
