Ingredients/Components

  • loaf bread dough frozen or fresh - 1 item
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • brown sugar - 1/3 c
  • Karo syrup - 1/4 c
  • cinnamon, raisins and nuts optional - 1 item

How to make sticky buns:

Spread dough and cover with butter. Sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar. Add raisins and nuts. Roll up jelly roll style. Slice to desired thickness. Melt syrup, sugar and butter; mix well.

Use ceramic/glass pan only (lasagna size). Pour mixture into bottom. Add dough slices. Set in oven to allow time to rise, 1/2 to 2 hours. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes. Pour into foil/wax paper. Cover buns with drippings.
