Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- brown sugar
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- melted butter - 1 Tbsp
- sifted flour
- beaten egg - 1 item
- broken nuts - 1/2 c
- oil or melted shortening - 1/4 c
How to make coffee cake:
Topping:1/4 c. brown sugar1 tsp. cinnamon1/2 c. broken nuts1 Tbsp. flour1 Tbsp. melted butter Combine salad oil, egg and milk. Stir together dry ingredients; add milk to mixture. Mix well, then pour into greased 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Combine topping ingredients and sprinkle over batter. Bake at 375° for about 25 minutes or until done.
