Ingredients/Components
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- coarsely grated cheese - 1 c
- medium squash, scrubbed and cut into chunks - 6 item
- small onion, cut into fine pieces - 1 item
How to make squash pie:
Boil squash in water slightly salted until tender. Drain water; add butter and seasonings and mashed squash with other ingredients. Pour into greased baking dish and bake at 350° about 30 minutes or until slightly brown.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
