Squash casserole
Ingredients/Components
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
- grated cheese - 1 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- cracker crumbs - 1/2 c
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- fresh squash - 1 qt
- Pepperidge Farm herb-seasoned stuffing mix - 1/2 c
How to make squash casserole:
Cook squash and onion until tender. Mash and add butter, egg, 1/2 cup cheese, 1/2 of the cracker crumbs and stuffing mix. Pour into greased baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining cracker crumbs, stuffing mix and cheese. Bake at 350° until cheese browns lightly, 20 to 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
