Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- plus 2 Tbsp - 1/2 c
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- grated uncooked yellow squash - 2 c
- grated onions - 2 tsp
How to make squash patties:
Combine first five ingredients. Cover and let stand 30 minutes. Drain thoroughly. Add flour and eggs. Stir well. Melt margarine in a large skillet over medium heat. Drop squash mixture by tablespoons in hot margarine. Cook until golden brown, turning once.Recipe categories: Breads, Vegetables, North american.
