Squash and apple bake
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- brown sugar, packed - 1/2 c
- butter, melted - 1/4 c
- mace - 1/2 tsp
- butternut squash - 2 lb
- baking apples, cored and cut into 1/2-inch slices - 2 item
How to make squash and apple bake:
Heat oven to 350°. Cut squash in half lengthwise and remove seeds. Pare squash. Cut into 1/2-inch slices. Mix dry ingredients. Arrange squash in ungreased baking pan 11 x 7-inch and top with sliced apples. Sprinkle sugar mixture on top; pour melted butter around. Cover with foil.
