Ingredients/Components

  • eggs - 2 item
  • salt - 2 tsp
  • pepper - 1/3 tsp
  • basil - 1/4 tsp
  • cloves garlic - 3 item
  • fresh parsley - 1/3 c
  • cooked rice - 1/3 c
  • thyme - 1/4 tsp
  • oil or butter - 1/3 c
  • sharp Cheddar cheese, grated - 1/3 lb
  • rosemary - 1/4 tsp
  • large chopped onion - 1 item
  • tarragon vinegar - 1/4 tsp
  • frozen chopped spinach - 1 lb
  • pie crusts - 2 item

How to make spinach pie:

Saute in oil onion, garlic, herbs and rice, cook 3 minutes. Add spinach, cook additional five minutes. Let cool slightly. Beat eggs. Add to spinach mixture along with cheese. Brown pie crust in oven at 425° for 15 minutes, then fill with spinach mix. Place back in oven at 350° for 45 minutes.
