Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 4 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped onion - 2 c
  • oregano - 1 tsp
  • basil - 1 tsp
  • can tomato paste - 1 oz
  • cloves garlic - 4 item
  • corn oil - 4 Tbsp
  • cans tomatoes - 2 oz
  • bay leaves - 2 item
  • thyme - 1/2 tsp
  • rosemary - 1/2 tsp

How to make spaghetti sauce:

In large pot, combine all ingredients. If desired, may add chopped green pepper, more onion and chopped mushrooms near end of cooking time. Simmer on stove 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.
