Green beans and bacon
Ingredients/Components
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- fresh green beans
- thick sliced bacon lean, cut into 1-inch pieces - 4 oz
How to make green beans and bacon:
Fill 4-quart saucepan half full of water; bring to boil. Add green beans; cook, covered 8 minutes. Meanwhile in 12-inch skillet, cook bacon until brown. Remove bacon to paper towels. Pour off 2 tablespoons drippings from skillet. Drain beans, stir in drippings in skillet. Return bacon to skillet. Season with salt and pepper; cook and stir over medium heat 2 minutes.
