Tangy corn salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1 tsp
- chopped celery - 1 c
- chopped green pepper - 1 c
- apple cider vinegar - 3/4 c
- small can English peas, drained - 1 item
- small jar chopped pimentos - 1 item
- can shoe peg corn, drained - 1 item
- green onions, tops and all - 8 item
- corn oil or Wesson oil - 1/2 c
- large can seasoned French-style green beans, drained - 1 item
How to make tangy corn salad:
Mix and bring to a boil vinegar, oil, sugar, salt and pepper; cool. Add remaining ingredients. Mix all together. Add cooked vinegar mixture and mix well. Refrigerate. Will keep several days.Recipe categories: Salads, Vegetables, Corn.
