Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • pepper - 1 tsp
  • chopped celery - 1 c
  • chopped green pepper - 1 c
  • apple cider vinegar - 3/4 c
  • small can English peas, drained - 1 item
  • small jar chopped pimentos - 1 item
  • can shoe peg corn, drained - 1 item
  • green onions, tops and all - 8 item
  • corn oil or Wesson oil - 1/2 c
  • large can seasoned French-style green beans, drained - 1 item

How to make tangy corn salad:

Mix and bring to a boil vinegar, oil, sugar, salt and pepper; cool. Add remaining ingredients. Mix all together. Add cooked vinegar mixture and mix well. Refrigerate. Will keep several days.
